There is no need to vacuum, the X-Clean can vacuum and wash solid and liquid waste. If there is a large amount of dry debris on the floor, you can vacuum first to avoid filling the tank of the X-Clean too quickly.
The X-Clean washer can be used on all types of smooth floors: waxed concrete, tiles, terracotta, PVC, linoleum, parquet.
For parquet or more delicate floors, don't hesitate to use modes with a low water flow to avoid soaking them.
We recommend testing the appliance on a small area for delicate floors when using it for the first time.
Refer to product safety and use instructions. Do not use on carpets, walls, windows or floors sensitive to water. Product is not designed for outdoor use.
No, it doesn’t : it is specially designed to clean your hard floors without causing any damage. However, we recommend testing the device on a delicate area during the first use.
We do not recommend using the X-Clean washer on carpets. Even though they can pick up dirt, washers wet fabrics, which can leave marks or promote bacterial growth.
The recommended use for our washer remains hard floors.
Even if the washer is compatible with most household cleaners on the market, this remain optionnal. You are responsible for this; please follow these instructions:
Prefer multi-surface detergents suitable for various types of floors. Use solutions with mild surfactants.
Do not use products containing bleach, pure bleach, or corrosive agents. Do not use foaming cleaning products (carpet shampoo, black soap, dishwashing liquid).
Do not use acid-based cleaners, such as certain bathroom products. These are too harsh and may corrode the vacuum mop’s metal components. Do not use greasy (e.g., black soap), toxic, flammable, aggressive, or particle-containing products.
Adding household detergents to the water tank is done at your own risk. Using incompatible detergents may damage and cause your device to malfunction. This could cause a product dysfunction.
When using detergents, always follow the dosage recommended by the manufacturer to avoid residue on the floor and to ensure quick drying. Overdosing the detergent may damage your device and cause it to malfunction.
The X-Clean washing vacuum cleaner automatically recharges when you put it back on its base, which must be plugged in. Once fully charged, the appliance will turn off automatically, there is no need to unplug your base.
As with a traditional mop, an ingrained stain will take longer to remove than a superficial stain. Our recommendation: Use the ‘MAX’ mode on your washer. Let the roller run over the stain for a few moments to moisten it thoroughly, then go over it again several times to get rid of the stain.
It's important to do this immediately after using your appliance. It's very simple and only takes a few seconds. It cleans the brush by removing accumulated dirt and wringing it out. After this self-cleaning, we recommend that you place the brush to be dried on the drying rack provided.
After each self-cleaning cycle, it is important to empty both of your appliance's tanks. However, it is not necessary to wash the roller and the rest of the appliance. For this step, we recommend (depending on your frequency of use and type of dirt vacuumed) that you wash your roller once a week.
Brush wear depends mainly on the surface of the floor. If your home is covered only with tiles, the brushes will last longer than those used on rougher surfaces such as terracotta or concrete. In all cases, you'll notice with the naked eye when the bristles on your brush start to get damaged. The average recommendation is to change your roller every 6 months.
No, the roller is not compatible with the washing machine, which could damage it and then damage your appliance. If your roller is dirty, and you want to wash it more thoroughly, we recommend that you wash it under the tap with washing-up liquid, and then rinse it thoroughly to remove any residue.
The overheating protection breaker of your vacuum cleaner has been activated. You should clean the motor filter, change the microactive filter (according to model) and replace the dust bag or empty the dust collector. Then wait 30 minutes before starting your appliance again.
It could be due to several causes: • The crosshead regulator is on open position, close it. • Vacuum flow is blocked: Check the tube, the nozzle and the hose. • The container or bag is full, change it or clean it (depending on model). • The filtration system is clogged up, clean or replace it.
